- Visa Inc. announced Visa Direct, its near real-time payment service soon will offer cross-border money movement into the Chinese mainland via a partnership with UnionPay International, the Chinese card brand.
- The Fiserv Small Business Index, which tracks small business transaction activity across the Fiserv Inc. merchant base, declined one point to 143 in January from December, indicating seasonal shifts by consumers and winter storms affected small business sales then.
- PAR Technology Corp. said Jack’s Family Restaurants is expanding the use of PARTech’s products and services to approximately 300 locations.
- Fingerprint, a fraud prevention provider, released its Authorization AI Agent Detection service to help detect authorized agentic AI traffic.
- Insurance payments specialist One Inc said it now use the model context protocol, an artificial intelligence utility, to help insurance carriers integrate with One Inc.
- Business services provider CSG launched CSG Payments Protection.ai, a fraud detection and financial risk management service.
- Fraud prevention specialist Socure launched SocureGov RiskOS as a tool for government agencies to counter fraud threats.
- Logistics payment and management platform RoadSync released its Chargeback Defense Program for the logistics industry, especially towing operators, repair shops, and warehouses.
- ATM services provider NCR Atleos Corp. said it extended its partnership with Heart of England Co-operative, a retail store operator.
- Zelle, the peer-to-peer payment service from Early Warning Services LLC, said, in conjunction with the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation and the Economic Opportunity Coalition’s Community Development Investors, it will establish a scholarship program for Black students enrolled in MBA programs at historically black colleges and universities.
