- Music-technology provider SoundExchange announced it is adding PayPal and Venmo as options for royalty payments to registered creators. The two payments channels join CashApp and Zelle as payout options on the platform.
- Tulip, a point-of-sale technology provider for retailers, said it will incorporate payments services from Stripe Inc.
- Dollar General announced DG Cash Back, a program that lets customers earn cash back in a Dollar General wallet when they make eligible purchases. The merchant has partnered with Ibotta Performance Network to run the program.
- Payments-technology provider Gilbarco Veeder-Root said it is rebranding as Invenco by GVR, taking the Invenco name from a company Gilbarco parent company Vontier Corp. acquired last year.
- Convera, a U.S.-based business-to-business payments provider, has opted to use a cloud-based payments hub from Temenos as part of a payments-modernization initiative. An independent company, Convera is the former Western Union Business Solutions unit.
- The billing and payments platform Rev.io announced it has acquired Tigerpaw, a provider of business-automation software. Terms were not announced
- Discover Financial Services named Jason Strle its new chief information officer, succeeding Amir Arooni. Strle comes to Discover from Wells Fargo, and before that worked at JPMorgan Chase.
