Shift4’s Jaguars Tickets Deal and other Digital Transactions News briefs from 11/13/24

  • The National Football League’s Jacksonville Jaguars agreed to use Shift4 Payments Inc. to process ticket sales at its home venue, Everbank Stadium.
  • Buy now, pay later provider Sezzle said retailer Rural King, with 130 stores, will offer the BNPL service.
  • Payments provider Repay Holdings Corp. reported third-quarter revenue of $79.1 million, up 6% from the same period last year. Net income swung to a positive $3.2 million from a loss of $6.5 million a year ago.
  • In Nuvei Corp.’s last earnings report before its expected transition to a privately held company, the payment processor reported $357.6 million in revenue, up 17.3% from $304.9 million in the year prior quarter. Its profit of $17.2 million reversed a $18.1 million loss a year ago. Nuvei also said it received all regulatory approvals for its move to a private company and expects to complete it by Nov. 15.
  • ATM and ATM services vendor NCR Atleos Corp. reported $1.1 billion in third quarter 2024 revenue, flat from last year’s third quarter. Its net income of $23 million, reversed a $57 million loss a year ago.
  • Bluefin Payment Systems LLC said its PayConex gateway now supports processing of flexible spending and health savings account transactions across multiple payment processors, including Elavon, Fiserv, Chase, and Worldpay.
  • Gateway Funnel Pro launched a payments service for Checkout Champ, an e-commerce site platform, for its higher risk merchants.
  • Crypto gateway Alchemy Pay updated its virtual card so it fully integrates with Google Pay, enabling cryptocurrency payments through the digital wallet.
  • Mastercard Inc. said it is looking to reinforce its position in the African gaming market with its inaugural African Esports Summit in Casablanca.
  • Payouts Network said Garen Staglin, chairman and founder of nonprofit One Mind, joined its board of directors.
