- Samsung Electronics America launched its Samsung Galaxy Card, a Visa card embedded directly in the Samsung Wallet and the electronics company’s first credit card product in the U.S. market. The card carries no annual fee and offers 5% cash back on Samsung purchases online or in-store.
- Fiserv Inc. announced it will be the exclusive embedded-payments provider to Datavault AI Inc., a platform offering data-monetization and asset-tokenization technologies. Fiserv’s role will be to embed banking, payments, and cards into marketplaces and exchanges using Datavault.
- Banking technology provider Matera launched its Payment QR Code software that is compliant with the recently approved X9.150, Merchant-Presented QR Codes for Secure Payment standard.
- Indianapolis-based commerce-software developer iSolutions said it has expanded its embedded payments platform into Canada. The company is the developer of iPayments for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and Dynamics 365 Finance and Supply Chain Management.
- Transit fare specialist Modeshift said it and rabbittransit, the public transit operator in the Harrisburg, Pa., area, launched a new account-based fare collection platform that includes mobile ticketing, reloadable smart cards, fare capping, and account-management tools.
- American Express Co. released new payments features for businesses including launching BIP Connect, a service within its Buyer Initiated Payments service, that connects businesses to Paymode, a U.S. B2B payments network.
- U.S. commerce platform Rezolve Ai said it will provide agentic-commerce technology for a payments platform offered by Zilch, a United Kingdom-based service with almost 6 million users and $3.3 billion in annual volume.
- Blue Light Card, a U.K.-based discount and rewards platform, said it has integrated services from U.S. and U.K. gift card provider Tillo, allowing users to buy gift cards without leaving the Blue Light Card app.
- WasabiCard, an issuer of cards backed by stablecoins, appointed Matt Price global partnership director. Price joined the company in May after a 28-year career at Visa Inc.
