- Payments platform Repay Holdings Corp. launched REPAY Voice, a voice-response system using artificial intelligence to process consumers’ bill payments. Earlier this month, the company said it was working on a system to enable bill payments via text messaging.
- PAR Technology Corp., a specialist in restaurant point-of-sale processing, reported June-quarter revenue of $133.4 million, up 19% year-over-year, with a net loss of $16.9 million, down from $21 million in the year-ago period. The company said it served 174,300 active sites as of quarter’s end.
- Weave Communications Inc., a payments platform for health-care practices, reported June-quarter revenue of $67.5 million, up 15.5% from a year ago. The company cut its net loss in half from a year ago, to $4.26 million.
- Card-issuing platform Marqeta Inc. said it will provide tokenization and spend-control services to support children under 18 in spending their allowances from funds stored in Google Wallet.
- Payments provider Conferma Ltd. announced its launch of the Virtual Card Performance index, intended to provide a measurement of how well virtual cards perform in corporate travel payments.
- Financial-technology provider Bercor has launched Bercor Pay, a U.S. dollar Visa card aimed at consumers for international payments. The card can be loaded into Apple Pay and Google Pay for tap-to-pay capability from a phone or watch, Bercor says.
- Insurance-claims payment specialist Acclaim announced the insurance provider BMI Companies has started using Acclaim to process claims payments internationally, replacing SWIFT wire transfers in more than 35 countries.
- Payment processor Finix released a redesigned dashboard for clients that includes easier search and filtering utilities, more customization options, and better navigation.
