- Payments provider Payzli said it now offers services from the Visa Acceptance Platform, including Tap to Phone and contactless payments.
- Swipesum, a merchant-services company, and Visa Inc.’s Authorize.net unit said they will support payments for 4aGoodCause, an online donation service.
- Relay Payments Inc. said 22 Onvo travel plazas will use its payments services that will enable it to reduce card-skimming fraud, offer fuel discounts to Relay customers, and allow drivers to use Relay’s mobile app for over-the-road expenses.
- Cross-border e-commerce service ShipToBox.com, based in New York City, launched Shop and Pay, aimed at allowing international shoppers to buy from U.S. businesses tax-free. One feature is Text-to-Pay, which enables transactions through text messages.
- Buy now, pay later platform Sezzle Inc. said its service has been adopted by Heritage Grocers Group, which operates 115 stores across six states and under various brands.
- Weave, a provider of payments software for dental practices, announced integrations with practice-management software from Patterson Dental.
- HSBC Holdings Inc. said its Zing app, which it launched in January, is incorporating a multi-currency wallet from Currencycloud and open-banking technology from Tink. Both Currencycloud and Tink are Visa Inc. properties. The Zing app is aimed at easing the converting, holding, and spending of multiple national currencies.
- Payments-technology platform ACI Worldwide Inc. is working with Affin Group to upgrade the Malaysia-based banking company’s real-time payments offerings.
- Electronic Merchant Systems named Randy Hayashi vice president of strategy. Hayashi has been an executive at Payment Depot, which was acquired by Stax, where he was vice president of operations.
- Payments provider Woodforest Acceptance Solutions promoted Sharon Geib as its chief financial officer. Geib had been senior vice president of finance.
