PaySimple in MarketSharp Deal and other Digital Transactions News briefs from 11/6/18

  • E-commerce platform 3dcart announced an integration with TradeGecko, a cloud-based inventory-management platform for business-to-business companies. The integration means online retailers can synchronize their 3dcart store with their TradeGecko account, 3dcart said.
  • Payments provider PaySimple announced its services are now available to users of MarketSharp, marketing and management software program for remodelers, contractors, and home-improvement professionals.
  • Net Element Inc. released Aptito, a point-of-sale app for the Poynt POS terminal.
  • Fiserv Inc. said it is working with payment-kiosk deployer QuotePro Inc. to enable next-day bank-account credit for cash deposited by consumers in any of QuotePro’s more than 100 machines, which are installed at auto dealers, utility companies, insurance companies, and other businesses.
  • Security specialist SecurityMetrics launched the SecruityMetrics Academy,  an online resource to help businesses learn more about data security and compliance.
  • Fidelity National Information Services Inc. (FIS) said it connected French luxury-goods conglomerate LVMH Group to the Swift network’s new Global Payments Innovation unit to enable faster and more traceable cross-border payments.
  • Dashlane Inc., a provider of password-management technology, said it expanded an existing North American agreement with property-and-casualty insurance company Chubb to grant policyholders in Europe a free Dashlane premium license.
  • Former First Data Corp. executive Barry C. McCarthy was appointed president and chief executive of checks and forms printer and banking-technology provider Deluxe Corp., succeeding Lee Schram, who is retiring after 13 years as CEO.
