  • Paysafe Ltd. will process transactions for clients of Gaming Innovation Group in North America, the United Kingdom, continental Europe, and Latin America that have adopted Gaming Innovations’ CoreX player-account management system.
  • Silverblaze, a developer of customer-engagement software for utility companies, will adopt billing and payment technology from Kubra and has joined the Kubra Partner Network, the parties announced.
  • The open-banking platform Plaid said it is combining instant financial onboarding with cash-flow data analysis in one new platform called Consumer Report. The move is aimed at lenders looking to analyze cash-flow data alongside credit data.
  • The Federal Reserve’s decision to lower its federal funds rate by a half point, announced last month, will have virtually no impact on consumers’ credit card rates, according to Money Management International, a nonprofit offering financial guidance to consumers. Other factors, such as credit history and outstanding balances, play a more prominent role in rate decisions, the firm says.
  • Chris Akrimi has been appointed head of revenue for the processor Lightspeed B2B/NuOrder by Lightspeed. Akrimi was most recently chief executive for The Layer, which focuses on artificial intelligence for commerce data.
