PayPal Inc. has agreed to provide its artificial-intelligence technology to enable product discovery and payments for merchants using Wix.com Ltd.’s commerce platform.
Payment card manufacturer CPI Card Group Inc. agreed to integrate into its prepaid card program the SafeToBuy technology from Australia-based prepaid card technology provider Karta. The technology embeds critical data in an EMV chip, eliminating card numbers and other details from gift card packaging.
Cryptocurrency platform Ripple said several nonprofit organizations have adopted its technology for aid delivery and funding. These include World Central Kitchen, Water.org, GiveDirectly, and Mercy Corps.
Navan Inc., an expense-management and payments platform, announced its shares will start trading Thursday on the Nasdaq at a public offering price of $25 per share. Goldman Sachs and Citigroup are the lead bookrunning managers.
Xsolla Inc., a payments-technology provider for video games, said it now supports external, direct-to-consumer purchase links in Google Play games.
WEX Inc., a payments platform and fleet-card issuer, announced David Foss will join its board of directors, effective Nov. 3. Foss is a former chief executive of Jack Henry & Associates Inc. and is that company’s current chairman.
