- PayPal Inc. has agreed to provide its artificial-intelligence technology to enable product discovery and payments for merchants using Wix.com Ltd.’s commerce platform.
- Payment card manufacturer CPI Card Group Inc. agreed to integrate into its prepaid card program the SafeToBuy technology from Australia-based prepaid card technology provider Karta. The technology embeds critical data in an EMV chip, eliminating card numbers and other details from gift card packaging.
- Cryptocurrency platform Ripple said several nonprofit organizations have adopted its technology for aid delivery and funding. These include World Central Kitchen, Water.org, GiveDirectly, and Mercy Corps.
- Navan Inc., an expense-management and payments platform, announced its shares will start trading Thursday on the Nasdaq at a public offering price of $25 per share. Goldman Sachs and Citigroup are the lead bookrunning managers.
- Xsolla Inc., a payments-technology provider for video games, said it now supports external, direct-to-consumer purchase links in Google Play games.
- WEX Inc., a payments platform and fleet-card issuer, announced David Foss will join its board of directors, effective Nov. 3. Foss is a former chief executive of Jack Henry & Associates Inc. and is that company’s current chairman.
