NMI’s Business Capital Debuts and other Digital Transactions News briefs from 12/9/25

  • Network Merchants Inc., also known as NMI, has launched NMI Business Capital, aimed at allowing ISOs, payment facilitators, and merchant-service providers to offer financing through their existing merchant portals. NMI announced early Tuesday that Parafin, a fintech, is the latest client for the service.
  • Buy now, pay later specialist Afterpay Ltd. added more than 13 new merchants for its service across five merchandise categories. Afterpay is a unit of Block Inc.
  • PSQ Holdings Inc., the processor known as Public Square, said firearms merchant Aero Precision will use its payments services. The merchant is an existing client of PSQ’s Credova buy now, pay later unit.
  • Klarna AB said its payments service is now available at checkout on Apple Pay in France and Italy. The news follows a similar move in six other countries, including the U.S. and Canada.
  • Zulie Venture Inc., a payments platform better known as CellPay announced it has acquired Tila Top Up, a prepaid payments platform. Terms were not disclosed.
  • The payments platform FreedomPay Inc. said it has launched a donations service called Gateway to Giving, which allows consumers to add a small amount at the point of sale.
  • LLP Exotic Auto Finance has adopted the bill-payment service ACI Speedpay, offered by payments provider ACI Worldwide Inc.
