- Point-of-sale technology provider NCR Voyix Corp. reported March-quarter revenue dipped slightly to $606 million compared to $612 million in the year-earlier period, led by a 6% slide in restaurant revenue, to $179 million. The company narrowed its net loss to $5 million from $17 million a year ago.
- Point-of-sale systems provider Aptos LLC said Boot Barn Holdings Inc. will use the Aptos ONE POS platform in more than 500 U.S. locations.
- Processor ACI Worldwide Inc. reported an 8% rise in March-quarter revenue, to $425.7 million, as its software-as-a-service division, its biggest unit, saw revenue climb 10.5% to nearly $262 million. But net income slid 35% to $38.3 million.
- Electric Era, a provider of EV charging technology, said its equipment will accept fleet cards from the payments platform WEX Inc.
- Mastercard Inc. agreed to work with Yellow Card, a developer of stablecoin technology, to support stablecoin-based payments in Eastern Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. The partnership will focus on cross-border payments among other applications.
- American Express Co. said it will work with two nonprofits, Generation and Scholarship America, to develop a pair of AI training and scholarship programs for small businesses.
- Remittance firm RemitBee Inc. said it will integrate Visa Direct into its platform to expand the number of countries and currencies for its cross-border transfer service.
- Cryptocurrency payment network Mesh completed an integration with Stellar that sees Stellar become a core settlement layer within the Mesh network.
- Fraud prevention specialist Socure named Chung-Man Tam chief product officer and Pablo Abreu its first chief AI and innovation officer. Tam recently was senior vice president of product development at Affirm Holdings Inc. Abreu has been with Socure since 2015, a LinkedIn profile with his name shows.
- Lightspeed Commerce Inc. appointed Bhawna Singh chief technology officer and announced new products in its retail and restaurant divisions. Singh’s experience includes CTO roles at Okta and Glassdoor.
