More Spend on Streaming Services and other Digital Transactions News briefs from 5/27/20

  • In its first “State of Spend” report, loyalty platform provider Cardlytics Inc., which develops offers for customers of some of the nation’s largest banks based on transaction data, says spending on streaming services rose 24% year-over-year in the March 12-April 29 period.
  • Digital-payments and banking-services provider i2c Inc. said it is supporting Crypto.com as the company launches its crypto card in 31 countries in Europe. The card first launched in the United States, Singapore, and the United Kingdom. Besides the crypto payments card, the company also offers a wallet app and cashback rewards on spending.
  • MoneyGram International Inc. said it will offer discounts on digital money transfers made by Uber drivers and delivery couriers and sent to more than 200 countries and territories.
  • XTM Inc., a Canadian company that offers banking and payments services globally, announced it is using the Bulk eTransfer service from Royal Bank of Canada to allow business clients to send funds in near real time to any bank in Canada. Bulk eTransfer is operated by Interac, Canada’s national electronic funds transfer network.
  • Business-to-business order-management system Jellyfish announced an integration with Square Inc.
  • Payments provider Repay Holdings Corp. announced a public offering of 8 million shares of its Class A common stock.
