GNC Adds Paze Checkout and other Digital Transactions News briefs from 12/5/24

  • Online checkout service Paze said retailer GNC now accepts the digital wallet. Paze is a checkout service from Early Warning Services LLC.
  • Digital gifting platform On Me signed a five-year agreement with Mastercard Inc. and received $1.7 million in pre-seed funding from venture capital firm Lerer Hippeau and Focal.VC to help it expand its retailer partnerships and build its research and development expertise.
  • Circle Internet Group Inc. said a subsidiary is the first stablecoin issuer to say it will comply with the Ontario Securities Commission and Canadian Securities Administrators’ Value-Referenced Crypto Asset rules. The move will ease the way for Circle to offer its dollar-denominated USDC coin on trading platforms in Canada.
  • BlueSnap Inc. announced it is a preferred payment partner for Zuora Inc., a monetization suite for businesses.
  • Prepaid card services provider Blackhawk Network said it donated $2.7 million in 2024 to 73 charities around the world.
