Former MCX Chief Joins InStream Board and other Digital Transactions News briefs

NCR Corp. says its Epsilon payments application received EMV certification from First Data Corp., enabling the app to process credit and debit EMV transactions in its Radiant POS and StorePoint POS products.

Former Merchant Customer Exchange LLC chief executive Dekkers L. Davidson joined the InStream Inc. board of directors. InStream provides shopper marketing services. Davidson left MCX, which oversees the still-incubating CurrentC mobile wallet, almost a year ago.

USA Technologies Inc., a vendor of contactless-payment devices for vending machines and other unattended locations, appointed Michael K. Lawlor chief services officer. The company also appointed Robert L. Metzger to its board of directors. A veteran of USA Technologies, Lawlor had been senior vice president of sales and business development. Metzger is on the faculty of the College of Business at the University of Illinois.

Paymentwall, a payments gateway, has finished its integration with e-commerce platform Shopify, allowing the more than 200,000 Shopify merchants to accept transactions on more than 140 payment methods globally.

• U.S.-based Ripple Labs Inc., a financial settlement company targeting cross-border needs, has opened an office in London, its first in Europe.
