Fiserv Buys Rest of AIB and other Digital Transactions News briefs from 6/6/25

  • Fiserv Inc. said it has agreed to acquire the 49.9% share of Ireland-based AIB Merchant Services it doesn’t already own. The joint venture between the two companies dates back to 2007.
  • CPACharge, an online payment service for accounting professionals from AffiniPay, has a new partnership with SafeSend, a service for tax and accounting firms, that enables these firms to embed CPACharge directly into the workflow for SafeSend One, a documents and related tools services.
  • Shift4 Payments Inc. again extended its $2.5-billion, all-cash offer for Global Blue Holding AG, a European payments company. The latest extension runs until June 23. The move follows an extension announced in April for the deal, which was reached in February.
  • ATM services and maker NCR Atleos Corp. said Morrisons Daily, a 900-location convenience store chain, will install Atleos Cashzone Network ATMs in its stores.
