- Sweden-based EasyPark Group, a provider of mobile apps for parking payments, is working with parking-technology firms ZipBy and Fennix to enable parking and gate-entry at parking lots throughout Vancouver, British Columbia. EasyPark expanded into North America in 2021 with its acquisition of Park Now Group, which included ParkMobile LLC. EasyPark acquired Park Now Group in 2021, marking a major North American stake for it.
- U.S.-based Nium, a specialist in cross-border real-time payments, said it is applying for appropriate licenses to expand into the Latin American market.
- Technology platform Plug and Play said applications for the second cohort of the Visa Inclusive Fintech Accelerator are being accepted through Sept. 12.
