Crypto Exchange BingX Debuts its Debit Card and other Digital Transactions News briefs from 7/10/26

  • BingX, a cryptocurrency exchange and AI company, launched its BingX Visa Debit Card, which allows users to spend stablecoins globally. The issuer is Wirex, a stablecoin technology developer and principal member of Visa.
  • PayPal Holdings Inc. said its PayPal USD stablecoin is now issued natively on the Polygon, a blockchain network, through Paxos and available on the Polygon Open Money Stack service. Paxos issues PayPal USD for PayPal.
  • The Electronic Transactions Association named Adam Coates chief operating officer. Coates formerly was general counsel and senior vice president at the Business Software Alliance.
  • Cobranded card platform Cardless named Mark Troianovski chief business officer and Karolina Noronha chief product officer. Troianovski arrives from Coinbase, Noronha from Adyen.
  • American Express Co. broke ground on a planned global headquarters at 2 World Trade Center in lower Manhattan. The structure is expected to stand almost 1,250 feet tall and encompass almost 2 million square feet of space. AmEx plans to occupy the building in 2031.
