- Comerica Bank said it will be an early adopter of On-Behalf-Of-Payments (OBO) on The Clearing House Payments Co.’s RTP network, a real-time payments platform. OBO payments are originated by a sender acting on behalf of another person.

- U.S. consumers plan to purchase 10% more gift cards this year than in 2024 in an effort to manage budgets and control spending, according to research from Blackhawk Network, a prepaid card platform. The study queried 23,000 adults globally, including 2,000 in the U.S. market.
