- The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau may revisit its new open banking rule, according to a report on Bloomberg Law, which indicated the review likely comes as banks ask about the potential liability for data breaches and being able to charge for access to their data. Bloomberg said it’s uncertain if the existing rule will be amended or eliminated.
- Processor Global Payments Inc. posted first quarter 2025 revenue of $2.41 billion, down 0.4% from $2.42 billion in the same quarter a year ago. Quarterly net income of $312.8 million was down 3.2% from $323.1 million last year.
