Bluefin Links to Basis Theory and other Digital Transactions News briefs from 2/18/26

  • Bluefin has partnered with Basis Theory, a tokenization and vaulting platform, to allow sensitive payment data to be captured, tokenized, and used across channels. The two companies say they will implement a unified token strategy across in-store, call center, online, and backend payment environments without expanding PCI scope or introducing new integration complexity.
  • Mastercard Inc. will integrate Stockholm-based Ericsson’s Fintech Platform into Mastercard Move, a set of money-movement services to help fintechs, banks, and telecom companies start up new payment services.
  • Zum Rails, a payments-technology provider, said it will begin embedding credit card acceptance into its payment platform, enabling custom checkouts within its platform for client businesses.
  • Bilt Technologies Inc., a platform that offers rewards on rent payments, appointed Sam Bakhshandepour president of local merchants, a role in which he will lead the company’s efforts with hotels, dining, and retail.
