Blackhawk Launches One4All Gift Card And Other Digital Transactions News briefs from 12/9/22

  • Prepaid card platform Blackhawk Network Holdings Inc. launched its One4All gift card, a single gift card accepted at more than 100 merchants and restaurants. The card is issued by Pathward N.A., a unit of Pathward Financial.
  • Matera, a Brazil-based instant payments and QR code payments company, opened an office in San Francisco as it expands to the United States.
  • The PCI Security Standards Council released version 1.2 of its PCI Secure Software Standard. This version adds the Web Software Module, a set of supplemental requirements to the standard’s Core Requirement.
  • Accubits, a software firm focused on artificial intelligence and blockchain, has agreed to join forces with Sila Inc., a payments-infrastructure fintech, to offer services to their combined client base.

  • Payments provider Veem has partnered with Finastra, a financial-services software provider, to offer technology to financial institutions that supports payments for small and medium-size businesses.
  • The international payments provider Paysafe Ltd. announced a reverse stock split effective Dec. 12. With the move, each set of 12 Paysafe common shares outstanding on the effective date will be combined automatically into one common share.
  • Former Federal Trade Commission chair Deborah Platt Majoras has joined American Express Co.’s board of directors. Majoras served for 12 years as chief legal officer and corporate secretary at Procter & Gamble Co. until her retirement earlier this year.
