BigCommerce Eyes IPO and other Digital Transactions News briefs from 7/17/20

  • E-commerce services provider BigCommerce Holdings Inc. filed a registration statement this week ahead of a possible IPO.
  • In its latest report on small businesses using its SwipeSimple payment service during the Covid-19 pandemic, CardFlight Inc. said overall transaction counts decreased 9.2% in the week ending July 12 from the week before, but were still 14% above CardFlight’s pre-Covid baseline.
  • Payments provider International Bancard announced an alliance with statement-analysis firm Fee Navigator to allow resellers to offer merchant prospects an automated analysis of surcharges, interchange, and other card-acceptance costs.
  • QRails Inc., an outsourcing and consulting service for card issuers, launched AnyDay, a service offering technology that allows employees to access their wages. AnyDay says it has signed several clients and is working with an unnamed workforce-management company to offer on-demand wage access to its 1.5 million users in North America and Australia.
  • AffiniPay, an independent sales organization serving professional trade associations, said its LawPay payments service for law firms has forged an integration with Aderant for Experts, practice-management application for law firms.
  • Payment card manufacturer CPI Card Group Inc. said a core-system integration with credit union service organization Prodigy will allow credit unions to print EMV cards for branch members onsite.
  • Synchrony Financial, a major store and cobranded card issuer, announced a multi-year agreement with golf-club fitter Club Champion to allow Club Champion customers to continue to have access to special financing offers.
