Alchemy Pay Gets License and other Digital Transactions News briefs from 3/6/26

  • Alchemy Pay, a payment gateway for cryptocurrency transactions, said it received a money-transmitter license in Delaware, the 15th state in which it has been so recognized.
  • Strike, which offers services related to bitcoin, said it has received a BitLicense and money-transmitter license from the state of New York.
  • Cinnaholic, a seller of cinnamon rolls using plant-based ingredients, said it has returned to Block Inc.’s Square point-of-sale platform after leaving the service a year ago for an unnamed provider.
  • Ordr Inc., a payments processor specializing in sports and entertainment, has adopted data-protection services from Cy4Data Labs Inc.
  • Payments-technology developer Finastra Ltd. has introduced OperatorAssist, a tool aimed at helping banks manage payments with more efficiency.
  • The payments-technology company PPRO is working with PayPal in Sweden to allow consumers using the mobile-payment platform Swish to pay with a domestic payment method when purchasing from online merchants around the world. Swish reportedly has a user base of 8.7 million.
