- Mastercard announced Agent Pay for Machines, a system for the initiation, orchestration, and settlement of payments conducted at high speed between AI agents. The network is collaborating with more than 30 companies on the initiative, including Adyen, Global Payments, Stripe, and BVNK, a stablecoin platform it has agreed to acquire for $1.8 billion.
- The e-commerce platform Shopware has launched Shopware Payments, offering merchants checkout methods including cards, digital wallets, buy now pay later, and PayPal, Venmo, and PayPal Later. PayPal is providing processing.
- Payments-technology provider Yardi released a trio of capabilities aimed at property managers operating in Canada, including same-day and next-day settlement, pay by link using email or AR codes, and payment terminals capable of tap to pay.
- MassPay announced it is offering clients the ability to fund, manage, and send payouts with stablecoins through an agreement with Circle Payment Network Managed Payments. The agreement builds on MassPay’s existing integration with CPN.
- PayIt, a provider of integrated payment systems for state and local governments, said it has worked with the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources to launch a new system to enable digital payments for trail passes and hunting and fishing licenses.
- Payments-security platform Bluefin said it is expanding its reach in medical payments to dental care through a collaboration with PAX Technology.
- The U.S. payments provider ACI Worldwide announced Payments Unleashed EMEA, a payments conference set for June 29-30 in London. The event arrives as policymakers are aiming to cut dependence on non-European payments technology, ACI says.
