ACI Connetic Adds Networks and other Digital Transactions News briefs from 4/23/26

  • Citing network complexity, ACI Worldwide Inc. said its ACI Connetic, a single platform connecting to multiple major payments systems, now offers access to Fedwire, CHIPS, Swift, The Clearing House RTP, Zelle, and FedNow. A link to Nacha ACH is expected to go live next year. The service will also support stablecoin and tokenized deposit offerings, ACI says. ACI Connetic debuted in 2025.
  • FreedomPay Inc. has launched its app for BigCommerce, enabling merchants on the commerce site to accept card and alternative payment methods through a simplified checkout.
  • American Express Co., the official payments partner of the National Football League, said it will be a presenting partner during the NFL draft, set for April 23-25 in Pittsburgh. Features will include a card-member lounge inside the city’s Acrisure Stadium for holders of AmEx’s Platinum card.
  • Surcharging specialist InterPayments said it completed an integration on the Stripe App Marketplace.
  • SoundHound AI Inc. said its partnership with convenience store chain Casey’s has been renewed and now includes more than 2,600 locations.
  • Retailer Chico’s FAS launched a cobranded Mastercard Inc. credit card and a private-label credit card in conjunction with Synchrony Financial.
  • PayNearMe Inc. appointed Niall Hayes chief development officer and executive vice president of engineering. Hayes joins the company from Twilio Inc.
