Block Expands Uber Deals and other Digital Transactions News briefs from 4/22/26

  • Block Inc. said it will work with Uber Technologies Inc. to extend Square’s existing Uber Eats integration to worldwide markets and offer Cash App Pay within Uber and Uber Eats in the U.S. market.
  • Paysafe Ltd. launched its PaysafeWallet, which features a debit card as well as a personal payment account supporting send, receive, and spend actions. The product, which builds on the company’s existing PaysafeCard account, has gone live in 18 markets in Europe.
  • Klarna AB said its in-app resell capability, launched in 2022, is now live in 15 geographic markets, with listings having increased 75% in the 13 months through March. The service lets users post items for resale on eBay, Poshmark, and Tradera. The postings come directly from the user’s purchase history.
  • Infinite, a specialist in technology for payments and compliance, has launched Infinite Accounts, bank accounts with unique routing numbers that can be used for payments on both conventional and stablecoin networks. The service is supported by Erebor Bank N.A.
  • Texas-based PECU, a credit union serving more than 20,000 members, has chosen LoanPay from CheckAlt to process loan payments while allowing borrowers to make payments via card or ACH.
  • Visa Inc. has joined Backbone, a national coalition of credit unions, bringing total membership to 30. The card network is expected to contribute data and expertise as the group seeks ways to serve GenZ customers.
  • MoneyGram announced it has extended its partnership with the Stellar Development Foundation, a nonprofit organization that supports the Stellar blockchain.
  • Mastercard Inc. said it is getting ready to launch its third annual Small Business Summit Series during National Small Business Month in May. The single-day events offer education and resources to small-business owners.
