Retailers looking to quickly set up an e-commerce site with integral payments acceptance can now use Famous.ai, a platform that uses artificial intelligence to do so.
Launched by Palm Beach, Fla.-based Famous Labs, the service enables business owners to design an online store using plain-language descriptors. The end result, Famous Labs says, includes the store structure, design, product pages, and payment setup. Payments are provided by its FamousPay service.
FamousPay is active once an online store is completed, the company says, though no details were available on how the service works.
The company says one difference with its service, which it says uses AI agents+, is that the agents can complete the task of creating an e-commerce site without requiring the client to finish the work. That also includes details such as buttons, categories, and copy.
“This is the first platform of its kind to combine agentic storefront creation, full design flexibility, and native payments in a single experience, giving users a one-of-a-kind way to go from idea to a professional, revenue-ready store rapidly,” Alex Mehr, Famous Labs chief executive, says in a statement.
Users have the option to design a conventional Web site, a mobile app for Android and iOS devices, or cryptocurrency projects, such as platforms and marketplaces.
