OneCause And Stripe and other Digital Transactions News briefs from 4/29/25

  • Shift4 Payments Inc. reported early Tuesday it logged volume of $45 billion for the first quarter, up 35% year-over-year, while revenue climbed 20% to $848.3 million and gross profit hit $240.7 million, up 37%.
  • OneCause launched OneCause Payments, a payments platform for nonprofits that offers processing from Stripe Inc. and Deluxe Corp.
  • U.S. stablecoin platform Circle Internet Group Inc. won approval from the Financial Services Regulatory Authority in the United Arab Emirates to operate in that country as a money-services provider.
  • In related news, Mastercard Inc. announced agreements with processors OKX and Nuvei Corp. to support stablecoin transactions for consumers and merchants.
  • United Kingdom-based supermarket chain Morrisons has opted for point-of-sale technology from the NCR Voyix Commerce Platform. The five-year contract covers 13,000 checkout lanes over almost 500 stores.
  • Weave Communications Inc., a payments platform serving health-care businesses, announced an integration with Veradigm Inc., a data-technology provider for the same market. Veradigm formerly was known as Allscripts Healthcare Solutions Inc.
