Wargaming Uses RedD Shield and other Digital Transactions News briefs

KeyBank announced it is supporting the Masterpass digital wallet from MasterCard Inc., which recently revamped Masterpass to stress in-store payments.

Wargaming, an online-games producer, has deployed the ReD Shield anti-fraud system from ACI Worldwide throughout Europe and now plans to deploy it globally.

WesBanco Bank Inc. will instantly issue EMV debit chip cards to customers at its 141 branches through technology from CPI Card Group and Harland Clarke.

Payment gateway Shift4 Corp. announced it has completed U.S. EMV certification with processor Total System Services Inc. (TSYS).

Sionic Mobile and YourHome1Source.com have collaborated to create the YourHomeSavngs app, which gives advice on home buying and ownership and allows users to find and pay local service professionals and receive discounts. The free app will become available Sept. 6.

Mobile-imaging software developer Mitek Systems Inc. said a top 10 U.S. bank, which it didn’t identify, will use its Mobile Fill application to enable customers to easily open accounts and fund them using mobile devices.

Processor Jack Henry & Associates Inc. reported net income of $248.9 million in fiscal 2016 ended June 30, up 18% from $211.2 million in fiscal 2015, on revenues of $1.35 billion, an increase of 8% from the prior year’s $1.26 billion.

Merchant lender Kabbage Inc. named Jeff Hodges, who previously worked at Official Payments and Firethorn Holdings, as chief financial officer. Kabbage also named Scott Askins as general counsel and secretary, and Richard Schafrann, a former Goldman Sachs executive, to lead the company’s capital markets team.
