Breach Confirmed at Most Chipotle Locations and other Digital Transactions News briefs

• PayRange Inc., which specializes in mobile payments for vending machines, has extended its service to coin-operated laundry machines. The service is available for Speed Queen and Maytag machines, with other makes to come, the company said.

• Quick-serve restaurant chain Chipotle Mexican Grill Inc. updated consumers about a breach of its point-of-sale system that it first announced in April. Chipotle said the malware captured data at many of its locations from March 24 to April 18. The malware attempted to capture the card number, expiration data, and the internal verification code. The company said the investigation has been completed.

• Processor Total System Services Inc. (TSYS) said it has enabled tokenization on all of its North American commercial card platforms. As a result, it said it is now the first commercial card processor to allow commercial clients to offer cardholders payment via a mobile device through Apple Pay, Android Pay, or Samsung Pay.

• Control Mobile Inc., a transaction-analysis provider, announced an integration with Square Inc.

• NCR Corp. is providing technology for a network in Bahrain in which ATM and point-of-sale transactions are triggered by users’ fingerprints rather than with cards. NCR’s client is Eazy Financial Services BSC.

• Citigroup Inc. appointed Manish Kohli global head of its payments and receivables business. Kohli previously was global head of commercial cards.
