Blackhawk’s Wells Fargo Deal and other Digital Transactions News briefs from 3/6/18

  • Point-of-sale software maker GiftLogic said its product now supports the Ingenico iCMP wireless POS terminal with Vantiv Integrated Payments.
  • Prepaid and gift-card specialist Blackhawk Network Holdings Inc. said it will supply the gift card products for Wells Fargo’s Go Far Rewards program. Blackhawk is managing the gift card reward element and providing fulfillment of these orders.
  • Bill-payments provider Noventis Inc. said it and business-to-business payments company Comdata, which is owned by Fleetcor, signed a multiyear agreement that gives Comdata a new distribution channel for its virtual credit card platform. Noventis will be able to deliver payments via virtual credit cards issued by Comdata.
  • Pivotal Payments named Mark Pyke as president. Pyke, who had been president of the merchant-services segment at Total System Services Inc. (TSYS) and was president of Bank of America Merchant Services, will report to Philip Fayer, who had been president and CEO, and now has the chairman and CEO titles.
  • Hightech Payment Systems announced that Michael J. Dooley will lead the company’s U.S. expansion. Dooley’s LinkedIn profile says he previously worked at The Strawhecker Group and Planet Group Inc.
  • Pinpoint Intelligence announced new personnel in the underwriting and operations departments for its Pinpoint Payments unit.
