Verifone Launches a Fleet Fueling POS System; NCR Voyix Integrates With Corpay’s Fleet Platform

Verifone Inc. early Monday launched Commander Fleet, a payment and site-management system that enables fuel and convenience retailers to accept WEX and other leading commercial fleet cards through a single POS integration. The system is expected to roll out across North America.

Providing fuel and convenience retailers with a single integration to fleet fueling networks eliminates the need to run separate hardware and POS systems for different fleet networks, Verifone says. A single, POS system also reduces toggling and checkout friction, enabling move more trucks through the checkout line and creating more upsell opportunities, the San Jose-based terminal maker adds.

In addition, Commander Fleet supports heavy fleet, light fleet, and consumer transactions and meets fleet-specific data-capture requirements, such as odometer readings.

“Commander Fleet gives retailers a seamless, cost-effective way to manage commercial-fleet transactions,” James Hervey, executive vice president and head of petro for Verifone, says in a statement. “By partnering with WEX and other leading providers of commercial fleet products, we’re cutting complexity, lowering costs, and creating a smoother experience for both operators and drivers.”

In related news, NCR Voyix Corp. has partnered with Corpay Inc., formerly Fleetcor Technologies, to enable NCR Voyix’s cloud-native POS systems in the U.S. to accept fleet cards issued on the Corpay network.

NCR Voyix will integrate its Voyix Connect interface with Corpay’s Comdata system to enable transaction processing for trucking fleets that use Corpay’s fleet cards. NCR Voyix currently supports more than 18,000 fuel stations in the United States and anticipates deployment of Corpay card acceptance in conjunction with the launch of its next-generation commercial solutions beginning in 2026, the company says.

Corpay helps fleet operators manage such vehicle-related expenses as fueling and parking, travel expenses, such as hotel bookings, and vendor payments. In July, Corpay introduced two new fleet cards—the Corpay One Select Mixed Fleet Card and the Corpay One Select Diesel Card, which offer, through a single account, deep fuel rebates for fleet operators, streamlined spend controls, and maintenance-management tools.
