Run Payments Launches a Payments Orchestration Portal

Payments-orchestration platform Run Payments has launched Run Merchant, an application that consolidates a merchant’s payment infrastructure into a single portal, making it easier to access payment data across multiple gateways and processors.

Run Merchant supports payment acceptance via virtual terminals, hosted payment pages, and application-programming interfaces. Additional features include a click-to-dispute manager, which enables merchants to track and resolve chargeback disputes within the portal, the ability to securely store card information to speed repeat purchases, and in-depth reporting and analytics.

The app also supports Level 2 and Level 3 transaction data to ensure merchants are compliant with Visa Inc.’s Commercial Enhanced Data Program to verify the quality of transaction data submitted by merchants for business-to-business and business-to-government (B2G) payments. Visa launched CEDP in April. The new program replaces previous Level 2 and Level 3 interchange incentives that rewarded merchants with lower processing fees for consistently providing high-quality, accurate data.

“Run Merchant gives us real-time visibility into our payments ecosystem, streamlines reconciliation across our network, and simplifies chargeback dispute management – all in one platform,” says Peter M. Rogers, chief financial officer for Echo Global Logistics, a third-party logistics provider. “That efficiency allows our teams to focus more on serving customers and less on managing payment complexities.”
