KuCoin’s Visa-branded KuCard and other Digital Transactions News briefs from 3/20/26

  • The cryptocurrency platform KuCoin introduced its Tomorrowland Limited Edition KuCard, a Visa card issued in partnership with the Tomorrowland music festival taking place March 21-28.
  • Glia, an AI platform for banks, has integrated a loan-payment technology from MessagePay in an effort to integrate payments into digital interactions between community banks and their customers.
  • The Electronic Transactions Association announced it has acquired the American Transaction Processors Coalition, a trade group focused on the state of Georgia and representing more than 70 companies. Terms were not announced.
  • Fastboy Payments, a payments-technology developer, said it is working to connect its BambooPay Gateway to Visa Inc.’s Cybersource payment-acceptance platform.
  • A report from bill-payment platform doxo Inc. indicated consumers on average pay $1,222 in additional costs when paying bills, including interest on credit, late fees, fraud, and overdraft fees.
  • Klarna AB announced its Klarna Card now has 5 million users in 16 countries. The card was introduced in the U.S. market in 2022.
  • Impact PaySystem appointed Bart Kohler chief revenue officer. Kohler is the founder of Allcard USA LLC.
  • U.S. Bank named Wally Mlynarski chief executive of Elavon, the bank’s acquiring unit. Mlynarski had led Bank of America Corp.’s merchant services and receivables business, and prior to that was chief product officer at Elavon.
