Klarna’s Bolt Exclusive and other Digital Transactions News briefs from 6/30/25

  • Klarna AB said an exclusive agreement with checkout and payments provider Bolt Financial Inc. will allow Klarna to integrate its payment options with Bolt’s CheckoutOS. The move is expected to allow merchants to offer Klarna’s payment options directly at checkout. Bolt says more than 80 million consumers use its one-click checkout capability.
  • Processor Nuvei Corp. announced it has gone live as a direct payments acquirer in Canada, its home market. The move allows Canada-based businesses to process domestic transactions directly through Nuvei.
  • Digital payroll platform DailyPay announced a $200-millon asset-backed securitization of receivables held by its On-Demand Pay feature.
  • FTI Consulting said it has appointed Christopher Allen senior managing director in the company’s financial-services practice. Allen has formerly worked for Mastercard Inc., JPMorgan Chase, and US Bank.
  • Lightspeed Commerce Inc. appointed Glen LeBlanc to its board of directors, effective Tuesday. LeBlanc is a vice chair at BCE Inc., a telecommunications company.
