- Klarna AB announced its payments services are available at WooCommerce stores using a plug-in from Stripe Inc. The number of such stores is said to reach hundreds of thousands.
- Valiify, a loan-origination platform, is working with payments firm Payfinia to use Payfinia’s PaymentXchange platform.
- Crypto wallet Bitget has launched its stablecoin-backed Mastercard in Brazil, with launches in further South American countries planned. The wallet claims 80 million users worldwide.
- Processor ACI Worldwide Inc. reported $271.3 million in revenue for the June quarter, up 15% year-over-year, and $508.3 million for the first half of the year, up neary 13%. Net income for the quarter dropped to $12.2 million from $30.9 million, due in part to a nearly 15% rise in operating expenses. Net income for the first half of the year, however, came to $71.1 million, tripling the net earned in the same period in 2024.
- Processor Priority Technology Holdings Inc. reported $239.8 million in second-quarter revenue, up 9.1% from the same period last year, while operating income rose 12.6% to $37.4 million.
- The U.S. Payments Forum released a white paper, “Guidance on Mobile and Contactless Payments Security,” and a separate document, “EMV 3-D Secure Resource Briefs,” both on security in digital commerce. Mobile payments by themselves will total $4.01 trillion in volume and account for 59% of total retail e-commerce sales this year, the organization says.
