- A partnership between Visa Inc. and insurance-technology firm Neat will allow cardholders in Europe to use new insurance services, including digital claims processing.
- Repay Holdings Corp. released a statement defending its $372-million deal to acquire Kubra Data Transfer Ltd., announced March 31. The statement responds to objections from Repay investor Veradace Partners, which in an April 9 open letter to the board called the deal a “misguided acquisition” and demanded it be terminated.

- The money-movement platform Remitly Global Inc. said it has appointed Adam Messinger to its board of directors, increasing the board’s size from 10 to 11 persons. Messinger’s experience includes a role as chief technology officer at Twitter, now known as X.
- Bitcoin Depot, a bitcoin ATM network operator, said it has appointed Tony Gagliardi chief compliance officer, effective April 8. Gagliardi arrives with compliance experience at OKX, Paxos, and Coinbase.
