Transcend: North American Bancard’s Premiere Payment Conference

We’ve all been to sales conferences before. Good ones, and not so good ones.  When North American Bancard first started talking about hosting a Sales Partner conference, there were a number of elements that went into the planning and positioning the conference. NAB wanted to not just have another sales conference, but wanted to give our Sales Partners, sponsors, and vendors an experience that they would not soon forget.

Born in the sands of Scottsdale.

The inaugural Transcend took place in Scottsdale, Arizona, and Sales Partners were treated to an event that kicked off with the founder and CEO of North American Bancard, Marc Gardner, delivering an update on where NAB is currently in the market, and where it is going. Gardner was joined by co-founder and former CEO of Total Merchant Services, Ed Freeman.

Sales partners attended sessions that were dedicated to giving them solutions that would help them grow their merchant portfolios with the latest products and services available from North American Bancard. After being fitted with custom kicks from Nike, and learning about new trends in the merchant services industry, the final night in Scottsdale featured a casino royale theme where all players could enjoy a comfortable evening on the deck of The Phoenician.

After enjoying cocktails and cards, attendees were shuttled to a private location where R&B artist Nelly gave a private concert. The last day of Transcend was meant for relaxation and refreshing. Attendees could either choose to attend a spa retreat, golf at one of Scottsdale’s award-winning courses, or go indoor skydiving.

Believin’ – Boca style.

Transcend 2019 promises to deliver the best in training and payments knowledge for our partners than ever before! As Transcend 2019 heads to Boca Raton, Florida; we are looking forward to a full slate of exciting product introductions and tools to help our Sales Partners continue growing their portfolios. Some of the great features of Transcend 2019 include:

  • Introduction of the POS Pros – This new team of highly specialized professionals is dedicated to helping Sales Partners place the best POS solution(s) for their merchants. As a new resource that’s available to NAB Sales Partners, the POS Pros will help Sales Partners appropriately place solutions that will help merchants grow and achieve their goals.
  • The Merchant Experience – NAB’s very own chief experience officer (CXO), Jim Parkinson, will walk attendees through what business owners are experiencing in today’s world of business. Parkinson will talk about their evolving needs, strengths, weaknesses, and how we can help merchants grow for the future.
  • Payanywhere and Payments Hub – Our leaders will debut the latest in smart solutions from Payanywhere, its new features, and the payment experience for Sales Partners in the Payments Hub.

Transcend 2019 will again be full of inspiring keynote speakers. This year includes addresses from Chris Gardner and Ryan Estis, with the event being closed out by former Journey lead vocalist, Steve Augeri.

Transcend is where innovations in the payments ecosystem meet real-world implementation. Transcend promises to pair the right tools with the right conversations to help payments professionals and organizations curate solutions for our ever-changing business landscape.

We’d like to extend a special thanks to our key sponsors Vend, PAX, Greenspoon Marder, Berkowitz Trager, and The Phoenix Group.
